Part 2 of Ai no Uta VI is finally finished. Since this book was broken up into two "chapters" by Suiden, I had hoped to complete the 2nd part in its entirety, but the 2nd part contained so much narrative and dialog that it would have taken me much longer than I promised to complete it. Suiden likes to write narratives all over the actual artwork instead of white spaces so it's a real pain to remove the kanji. Sometimes I have to redraw stuff so it doesn't look like crap after I add the English. I figured everyone would rather read what they could now than wait another 2-3 weeks for me to post all 45+ pages.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I should have the second part of Ai no Uta VI out sometime within the next couple of weeks (or three). My physical therapy is going well and not taking up so much of my time right now and my sis gave me a wand scanner for Christmas, so all my scanlation projects should be moving along more quickly now.

Also, Suiden Crow just released Ai no Uta VII, so I should be receiving my copy from Japan in a couple of weeks or so. In light of that, I've decided to put the scans of Birdcage on hold until after I finish the series. So until next time, Happy New Year!

Hi everyone. In a couple of days I'll be going back into the hospital for some reconstruction surgery on my leg so I thought I'd at least post this first part of Part VI. I finished it up while I was cooped up in bed bored. Thank goodness I'm right-handed since only my left side's a mess. I can't say for sure when I'll be able to finish the second part, but I'll be sure to keep you posted. I hate to leave you guys hanging where I did, but I can tell you that Vol VI won't be the last one.

I also want to thank everyone for all the "get wells" and "well wishes" over the past few weeks. ^_^

Sorry this isn't a posting of the English Scans. I just wanted everyone to know why there's been such a delay in getting them out. I was in a car accident (got T-boned) a couple of weeks ago and just got out of the hospital yesterday. The best I can say about it is that I made it out alive but the rest of me is going to take a bit more time to heal. I suppose on the upside I earned myself a month's rest from my grueling work schedule. ^_^ As soon as my head stops pounding so much, I'll try to at least get the first part of Ai no Uta VI out.

Well, I thought everyone might want to know what the cover of Ai no Uta VI looks like. It's finally out and I've placed an order for it. The plan is to release the English translation by at least mid-September.  I'm also trying to purchase a couple of other Suiden crow doujinshi, but it all depends on if the people I know are going to be attending Super Comic City this year.

I should have the first part of Ai no Uta VI finished and posted sometime within the next 2 weeks, and hopefully the last part a couple of weeks after that. Then I'll work on the Suiden Crow anthology doujin Re: Birdcage. It's a re-release of her 06 doujinshi, 06+ omake, 08 Neve, and a couple of other shorts.

Finally! This monster is done! And just in time for the weekend. Maybe now I can get to some of my other projects that have been unfortunately neglected this summer due to my horrid work schedule. ^_^  I was going to tackle the doujinshi "Neve" next, but someone told me that someone else was scanlating that one, so...  If I'm wrong, let me know and I'll get started on it because who knows when Ai no Uta VI will come out, and from what author implied, it's probably going to be the last one.

Well, this first part of 05 Ai no Uta V is finally finished. Sorry it's taken so long, but these days I've had zero free time, and it seems as if Mother Nature has a grudge against the southern US. This 5th volume has 3 distinctive parts, so I decided to release them that way so you won't have to wait as long for me to finish the entire thing.

04 One Summer's Day Kouhen is here! This part is meant to be read after Ai no Uta III.  I've also finally received my copy of Ai no Uta V, and of course it had to end with a big cliffhanger.  We'll probably have to wait until at least August for part VI.  I'll try not to keep you waiting too long for the translation of part V (barring no major disasters on my end).
